2025 Red Bull Tennessee Knockout: What You Need To Know

RedBull TKO 2025 eMoto Class Info

The 15th annual Red Bull Tennessee Knockout (TKO) returns to the Trials Training Center in Sequatchie, Tennessee from Friday, August  8 to Sunday, August  10, 2025. TKO is the final round of the AMA US Hard Enduro Premier Championship series and serves as the AMA Grand Championship for Extreme Off-Road—hosting 500 riders across pro and amateur categories.

The weekend features a multi-round knockout format:

  • Friday: Hot lap qualifier sets the starting grid
  • Saturday: TKO Race #1 for Pro & Amateur eMoto Classes
  • Sunday: Final TKO Race for eMoto Classes + Additional Pro Races for Pro Class

2025 TKO ECR eMoto Race

Bike Regulations

Run what you brung. There are no restrictions on bike modifications, power, weight, or battery. All electric dirt bikes are free to compete as-is. There will be no tech inspection.

Prize Purse (Pro Class)

  • $1,000 total, allocated as:
    • 1st place: $500
    • 2nd place: $300
    • 3rd place: $200
  • Pro Class riders must finish Sunday’s TKO 1 final to qualify for any portion of the purse.

Race Format & Track Structure

  • Friday Hot Lap: All eMoto riders run together to establish Saturday’s starting order.
  • Saturday: A single eMoto race, held alongside traditional TKO classes. Both Pro & Amateur eMoto classes will race the same course (no more than 15 miles in length)
  • The top 20 overall eMoto finishers from Saturday (regardless of class) will advance to Sunday’s TKO finals.

Sunday: Final Rounds

  • Pro riders compete on the full TKO 1 course.
  • Amateur riders will race a similar, but slightly abbreviated course, maxing out at 15 miles.
  • Only Pro riders who complete the TKO 1 final are eligible for prize money.

A designated Battery Swap Area will be available for both eMoto races as years past, located at the Uphill Swamp area.

Additional Information & Eligibility

  • The ECR eMoto class is an open format that will allow electric motorcycles of all power levels. Trials style electric motorcycles and Trials tires are allowed for the eMoto class.  
  • Riders of all skill levels that are 14 years of age and older will be eligible to enter the ECR eMoto classes.
  • You will need a valid AMA membership card to compete – bring your card to the event!
  • You will need to sign up for the class you plan to race (Pro or Amateur)
  • ECR eMoto riders will be given the opportunity to compete in the Friday HOT-LAP qualifying session to earn their starting position in Saturday TKO Race #1.  Riders that don’t ride the HOTLAP will start behind all eMoto HOT-LAP riders based on their initial registration position. (RIDERS MUST CHECK IN TO GET YOUR RIDER PACKET AND TRANSPONDER PRIOR TO RIDING THE HOT-LAP)
  • On Saturday, the ECR eMoto classes will start BEFORE the amateur gas race.
  • On Sunday, the ECR eMoto classes will start AFTER the pro gas race.
  • If any of the pro eMoto riders finish in the top 30 overall on adjusted time against the gas open pro riders during the Sunday TKO race 1, they will be eligible to move forward to the pro TKO race 2. If an eMoto rider does qualify into the pro class, they are eligible to qualify for the open pro main event if they finish in the top four in their group in the Sunday TKO race 2.
