It was only a matter of time… Last week, the folks at Stark Future cemented their place in the annals of two-wheeled history by becoming the first ever motorcycle manufacturer to secure the FIM SuperEnduro World Championship Manufacturer’s Title on an electric bike, beating out the most capable gas-powered enduros in the industry with their latest Stark Varg EX enduro.
The win came courtesy of Mr. Eddie Karlsson, who delivered consistent results throughout the championship to take a 4th place overall for the season. Karlsson’s teammate, Toby Martyn, ended the season with a strong 5th place finish himself, securing enough total points to put Stark Future at the top of the heap in a sea of Husqvarnas, KTMs, and Triumphs.

If you’re not familiar with SuperEnduro racing, it’s hard to imagine a more difficult setting to win a championship apart from FIM Hard Enduro itself. Same rock gardens, logs, and jumps as hard enduro, but with the added pressure of a motocross-style mass start and a constant bar-banging fight for the fast line.
“Our riders’ exceptional performances have culminated in a historic achievement: securing our first-ever FIM SuperEnduro World Manufacturers’ Championship title,” said Stark Racing Director Sebastien Tortelli. “This represents a major milestone for Stark, the team, and everyone who has contributed to this journey.”

This may be the biggest feather in Stark’s cap to date, but it’s far from the brand’s only milestone. Eddie Karlsson previously took home a silver medal during the 2024 Red Bull Los Andes hard enduro, as well as a prologue win at this year’s Red Bull Romaniacs. Stark also managed to set a Guinness World Record at the end of 2025 for the highest elevation ever reached by a motorcycle, topping out at 22,050 feet on the Ojos del Salado volcano in Chile.
“From the beginning, our goal was simple: build the best off-road motorcycles in the world and prove their performance at the highest level of Racing,” said Stark founder and CEO Anton Wass. “Winning the FIM SuperEnduro Manufacturers’ World Championship shows what is possible when innovation, engineering, and racing ambition come together.”
